A week in British Columbia works best as three bases rather than a loop: the city, the mountains and the island. The connections between them are short and scenic, and each stop feels distinct.
The shape of the week
- Days 1–3 — Vancouver: seawall, Stanley Park, Granville Island, one beach evening
- Days 4–5 — Whistler via the Sea-to-Sky Highway, with stops at Shannon Falls and the gondola
- Days 6–7 — Victoria by ferry or floatplane, harbour walks and gardens
If you have ten days
Add Vancouver Island's west coast around Tofino, or head inland to the Okanagan for lakes and wine country.
